Born in New Jersey, Nicholas Bredimus combined the spheres of hospitality, software, and airlines and revolutionized all three areas of business. His resume covers effort-saving software, air safety enhancements, and he’s even involved in designing luxury homes.
Looking at Mr Nicholas Bredimus’ heritage you can easily tell he was certain to achieve greatness. Its lines can be followed all the way into ancient history, Nicholas’ family tree ties in with several nations in Europe. From his mother’s branch he boasts Scottish and German bloodlines. His father’s family, however, originates in England and Luxembourg, from where they emigrated in the late 1800s.
That determined zeal kept them pushing on after their arrival in America. Nicholas, who would grow up with his four sisters and two brothers, was a child of a father who worked as a mechanical design engineer and a mother who was a practicing nurse. His dwellings for many years were spread across four states.
After completing his schooling, Nicholas Bredimus engaged in a few respected posts at many of the largest and most respectable businesses in the airline industry. Among these was included the role of vice president for Trans World Airlines (TWA), Hughes Airwest, and even Republic Airlines. An industrious software designer, his innovations in airline computer programs are most likely his best regarded gift to the industry. His insight into airplane maintenance programs, now commonplace throughout the air travel sector though originally produced for one specific firm, ultimately led to what is still his most popular piece. He went on to develop several other computerized solutions for the airline and hospitality industry in addition, among them unmanned programs to take and record flight bookings, now in use at fifty or more airlines, to say nothing of the world’s first pc based room booking software deployed by the hotel sector, first put into motion at more than 700 locations. He also designed an industry specific system called QuikTix, the world’s first electronic ticket ordering network. Mr Bredimus has even been appointed to a number of roles entirely unconnected to software design, it should be pointed out. Responsible positions with American Airlines and American Express were to come, and of course he launched his own company in the early 1990s.
Today he has departed from his airline connections and the software design industry, though rest assured he’s still making best use of his inventiveness. But to address your question, his creativity is on display in luxurious homes that feature many of the cutting edge technologies out there. That tireless spirit we pointed out here simply won’t be toned down.
