For Extended Touring in Australia Find an Airport Car Rental Comments (0)

Adventurous Life& Cars Vintage + New& Travel Resources

To reduce travel costs down under, booking your airport car hire in Australia using the web is certainly useful. Not merely will you save time and energy trying to phone around to fifty different businesses, there are several websites, such as Expedia, Kayak, Priceline, etc. which are designed to sell cheaper travel related and transport solutions, matched to the discerning tourist on a tight budget. For those seeking to do an extended visit, or for business travelers, an airport car hire service without a doubt beats hanging about waiting for buses and trains.

For cities where there is no nonstop train service from the airport into town, such as Melbourne, it’s especially advantageous. However, even in Sydney, with its rapid airport train service, if you intend on doing much traveling in and out of the city, and need to stay in time, and want the control options a car rental service can offer, then renting a car at the airport is your best option.

A Melbourne airport car hire will enable you to keep to your own touring schedule around greater Melbourne and Victoria. Having an airport car rental in Australia is also good for another factor. It makes the additional price of taking on a tour bus not required, if you know where you’re going and, because it’s such a big country, it makes visits to the outback and countryside “all inclusive”. You can grab very cheap airport car hire rates through companies like Hertz, Avis, Budget, EuropCar, Redspot, and Thrifty, among others. For instance, a Toyota Corolla compact rents for $316/week on Drive Now, however you can search around online and possibly discover an even better offer than that on Economy type car rentals.

A car rental scenario is the best for moving around if your plans include touring Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or some other Australian cities, and particularly if you want to tour several cities down under. Whether you’re touring for enjoyment, business or both, a car hire Melbourne Airport style will provide you with the perfect transport scenario. Check out Melbourne, among the world’s top rated cities for all round quality of living. Place yourself driving an inexpensive yet trustworthy car rental service when paying a visit to Australia, and do away with the lengthy waits for a train or bus.

My Australian Visit Comments (0)

Touring Australia, traveling from Sydney to Melbourne on the coast line was one the greatest experiences I have gone through. There was picturesque scenery, lots of things to do and sociable Australian people.

There are plenty of car rental sydney and car hire Melbourne choices and that’s unquestionably the handiest way to experience the coast. Car hire agencies are more than willing to help you arrange the tour of your dreams. I discovered a great one way special to Melbourne at a car rental in Sydney.

I traveled south from Sydney through Royal National Park. I was blown away by the Grand Pacific Drive, it was breathtaking. I took my time exploring coastal villages and spent a few hours in the bustling city of Wollongong before ending for the night at Jervis Bay.

Jervis Bay is known for their dolphin population, I boarded a cruise the next break of day to experience seeing the dolphins swimming just meters away from the boat, truly awesome. The lovely white sand beaches made it hard to leave. Further south I managed to buy some great, high quality craft items in the historic villages of Central Tilba and Tilba Tilba.

I stopped at Mimosa Rocks National Park and swam in the lagoon before stopping at Tathra Beach to watch some surfers and enjoy the beach. That evening I lodged in the trendy village of Metung and had a tremendous seafood platter in one of the lakeside eateries.

Wilsons Promontory National Park is home to amazing scenery and an abundance of wildlife such as kangaroos, koalas and wombats. The place is filled with activities to keep you busy, I spent an entire day hiking through forests, exploring beaches and climbing on granite mountains.

Next stop was Fish Creek, a tiny, eccentric and thriving township with arts and crafts, books and cafes. I took the bridge over to Phillip Island, a popular family stop. At Nobbies Centre you can watch the penquins strutting up and down the beach and see one of Australia’s largest fur seal colonies.

I ended my trip in Melbourne making my last stop at the working heritage farm on Churchill Island. Renting a car was the single best decision I have made, taking the coastal drive from Sydney to Melbourne at my own pace was truly an experience. Next time I may get a car rental in Melbourne and do this trip the other direction!

What New Experiences Do You Want to Try? Comments (0)

Adventurous Life

The widespread understanding with consumerism is that we value actual experiences to a greater extent than we do the things we’ve owned in the past. If this is the case, isn’t it more gratifying to give your friend or loved one with something that offers them the chance of a new experience?

Lots of people are cottoning onto this, and a favourite present nowadays is to give somebody an experience day. They can pick out something they always wanted to do - that may be driving a high performance car, riding a hot air balloon, skydiving or even parachuting or even doing a bungee jump.

Arguably the most popular experience activity in the UK appears to be the driving experience.

Typical sportscar driving experiences include the drifting and skid control experience. This offers you the chance to drive such a car at high speeds - if you posess the boldness to do it. For sure it’ll be a day to remember.

As these types of gifts are becoming more fashionable, there’s presently a bigger choice for experience days - which is excellent for the end customer as you ought not to have too far to travel to your day out, nor pay out a lot for your one-off experience.

It is often hard to find a company that looks into all the needs of its customers and comes up with products that will satisfy every demand. The North Face is one such company that makes sure that its customers get full value for their money. It is because of this policy that they are a leading tents and outdoor products manufacturer for more than 40 years.

North Face tents are designed after extensive research and development to ensure that all features that will ensure safety in unfavourable environmental conditions are incorporated. For example, one of its tents, Mountain 25 is specially designed for high altitude use and can withstand temperatures and pressures at 5000 meters above sea level. It is easy to carry, weighing only 8 pounds and has a lift technology that makes the inside of the tent warm.

A favourite among backpackers is Minibus 33, which is spacious and can accommodate up to 3 persons. It is easy to pitch because of its colour coded poles and is light weight because of the unique DAC SL poles.

A more general and all purpose use tent is Tadpole 23 BX which has room for adequate ventilation. Its D-shaped door allows for air circulation at different levels. The tent has been designed to keep the internal walls dry even in torrential rains.

My Trip to Hawaii Comments (0)

This post is from our recent trip to Oahu. Ive got to say, if you ever have the chance to make it to Honolulu, you should definitely take the offer. It has to be one of the most pretty places in the United States. What a blessing it is to have such a rare location in our country.

The hospitality there is amazing. We took a widsurfing lesson, rode a canoe, caught a few hula exhibits and even had a chance to try out some authentic Hawaiian food at a luau. They say ono out there, it means delicious. The Kalua Pig is to die for and be sure to stop by for a lava flow drink at Dukes. Its a little spot on Waikiki beach, great for an evening cocktail. One of the most unforgettable aspects was when we treated ourselves to the best Honolulu massage. It was magnificent, super relaxing and well deserved after a hard years work.

Honolulu is fantastic. Don’t stress that you won’t do it all, because you can’t. Determine what is most important to you and concentrate on that. Take time to relax and enjoy just being there. Needless to say, we will be going back as soon as possible.
